Prefabrication of rebar cages is part of BBV Systems’ enhanced value added services. Entire rebar cages, cut and bent and semi prefabricated are manufactured in our factory and broken down into manageable sections to facilitate shipment in 40’ ocean going containers. This services includes detailed workshop drawings, bar bending schedules with 100% tractability and onsite technical support to assist with cage assembly.
It is widely acknowledged by BBV’s cliental that our prefabrication concept significantly contributes to expediting the construction program critical path by reduction of bottle neck rebar cage installation time as well as offering a cost effective alternative to on site steel fixing.
BBV have prefabricated over 700 board pile cages of up to 2.4m diameter and 50m+ deep shipped from Thailand to Canada in 12 meter containerized sections spliced with our patented Twin Shell Coupler and including stiffeners, and sonic testing tubes.
